Senior year isn’t just a season.
It’s an era of becoming.
The Senior Era Experience is a fully guided portrait journey designed to document identity evolution, personal milestones, and the emotional energy of this once-in-a-lifetime chapter.
Rather than a single photo session, this experience unfolds across multiple creative chapters - each one intentionally designed to capture a different side of who she is.
From confident editorial moments…
to seasonal storytelling…
to cinematic creative direction…
This is where senior portraits become legacy.
A senior year is made up of moments most people never think to preserve.
The quiet confidence that begins to emerge.
The shift in how she sees herself.
The way her style, presence, and identity start to feel entirely her own.
The Senior Era Experience is designed to capture those moments as they unfold - not all at once, but intentionally, over time.
...for seniors who want more than a single moment captured, and instead wish to create a meaningful, cohesive story that reflects the entire senior-year journey.
Each chapter is thoughtfully designed to capture a different side of her - allowing space for style, confidence, and identity to evolve naturally over time.
The Senior Era Experience is offered to a limited number of seniors each year to ensure every story receives the attention it deserves.
Each experience is thoughtfully planned from the anchor chapter forward, creating a cohesive senior-year story without requiring families to manage the details themselves.
A focused, concept-driven session designed to create striking, fashion-inspired imagery.
The beginning of the story.
This chapter is scheduled during either summer or early fall, depending on your senior’s vision, style, and the overall story we’re creating together.
A celebration of everything she’s accomplished - and everything ahead.
The final chapter of the experience.
A custom-designed album that tells the story of senior year as it unfolds - curated from your favorite images across each chapter.
The founding year of the Collective will be intentionally limited.
Senior Era clients are automatically invited to become Founding Members of the Stacey Lyn Editorial Collective - a small, curated community of girls stepping into confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
Every chapter includes a collection of social-media sized images - perfect for sharing, posting, and reliving each moment throughout the year.
Your album is already included in the experience.
Additional artwork is completely optional and may be selected at your discretion:
The Senior Era Experience is designed to unfold across the year - and the investment is structured the same way.
Interested in the Senior Era Experience?
I’d love to walk you through how it works and see if it’s the right fit for your senior.
Ready to reserve your senior’s session?
I’ll create a custom booking proposal with everything you need to get started.
Most families reserve their session 3–6 months in advance, with August through October being the most requested.
If you’re reaching out closer to your ideal timeframe, don’t hesitate - I’m always happy to create a little last-minute magic when availability allows.
Yes- styling is a core part of the experience.
I’ll guide outfit selection, colors, and overall vision so everything feels cohesive, confident, and true to your senior’s personality.
Yes - both within the Pittsburgh area and beyond.
If you’re envisioning a destination or unique location, we can absolutely explore that together. Travel details are discussed during the planning process.
Absolutely.
Most seniors arrive feeling unsure and leave feeling confident and at ease. I guide posing and movement in a natural, supportive way, giving them time to relax, warm up, and truly settle into the experience.
Sessions can take place outdoors, in the studio, or a combination of both - depending on your senior’s vision.
Every location is thoughtfully chosen and planned together during your consultation.
A few weeks after your session, we’ll meet for a guided image reveal and ordering appointment.
This is where you’ll see your images for the first time and select the artwork that best fits your home and vision - with no pressure to decide in advance.
I’ll guide you through the entire process so it feels clear, confident, and enjoyable.
Sessions are intentionally designed to keep the focus on your senior, allowing them space to relax and fully shine.
I’m always happy to capture a quick photo with a parent during the session.
Family portraits are thoughtfully included during the cap & gown session in the spring - creating a meaningful opportunity to celebrate together. For experiences that don’t include a cap & gown session, this can be added as an optional extension.
Still have questions, or ready to move forward?
I've got you.
